POSSIBLE CAUSE ● The operation is prohibited on the placed disc. ● The DVD deck is not selected. ● The operation is prohibited on the placed disc. ● The disc's region number does not match that of the unit. ● The disc's region number does not match that of the unit. ● This type of the disc cannot be played back. ● The disc is not placed properly. ● The Parental Lock is engaged, and the placed disc is rated higher than the set level. ● The disc does not contain the language you set. ● The disc does not contain the audio/ subtitle in the multiple languages. ● The disc does not contain the subtitles. ● The subtitle display is set to off. ● A-B Repeat Playback is in progress. (੬ pg. 51) ● The scene is not recorded from the multiple angles. CORRECTIVE ACTION - On the unit Press VCR/DVD repeatedly so that the DVD indicator lights up. On the Remote Press DVD so that the DVD indicator lights up. - Use the discs whose region number includes "ALL" or "1". (੬ pg. 7) Use the discs whose region number includes "ALL" or "1". (੬ pg. 7) See "Unplayable Discs" (੬ pg. 7). Remove the disc, then place the disc properly in the disc tray. (੬ pg. 9, "Placing a Disc") Release the Parental Lock temporarily (੬ pg. 59), or change the set level (੬ pg. 59). - With some discs, the language should be set on the top menu. (੬ pg. 43) - Set the subtitles display to on. (੬ pg. 54) The subtitles recorded around A-B point may not appear. -
