Before Setting the Oven Controls Upper and lower Oven Vent Oven Vent Location See illustration on left side for venting location. When the oven is on, warm air is released through the vent. This venting is necessary for proper air circulation in the oven and good baking results. Removing & Replacing Oven Racks To remove an oven rack from the lower oven, pull the rack forward until it stops. Lift up front of rack and slide out. To replace an oven rack in the lower oven, fit the rack onto the guides on the oven walls. Tilt the front of the rack upward and slide the rack back into place. Flat Rack The Offset Oven Rack is used to maximize cooking space. The offset rack can be used in the lowest rack position to roast large cuts of meat and poultry or for specific type of cooking as per the table below. Offset Rack Rack positions Arranging Oven Racks & Supports Always arrange oven racks when the oven is cool (Prior to operating the oven). Arranging Oven Racks & Supports
ALWAYS ARRANGE OVEN RACKS WHEN THE OVEN IS COOL (PRIOR
TO OPERATING THE OVEN).

preheat cycle time is complete. During the preheat cycle, both the bake
and the broil elements are cycling which may cause unsatisfactory
