The ability to do this must be set up prior to using this functionality. This can be set up under the configuration button on the e-mail tab. The E-mail Tab has the following options that may be set up by the administrator: Maximum size - This is the maximum size allowed to be sent (color files can be very large). MAPI or SMTP - Setting for e-mail Test Settings - Test the entered settings E-mail Signatures - Standard, No signature or user defined signature. send the scanned output direct to another person’s e-mail address.

up under the configuration button on the e-mail tab.
The E-mail Tab has the following options
