Removing the hard disk drive for desktop model To replace or remove the hard disk drive, follow these steps: 1. Follow the above steps to remove the CD-ROM. 2. Make sure to disconnect the power cord and signal cables from the hard disk drive and the diskette drive. 3. Remove the screw that secures the mounting tray holding the hard disk drive 4. Push the mounting tray to the right to separate it from the chassis, then lift the tray out of chassis. 5. Removing the hard disk drive for desktop model
To replace or remove the hard disk drive, follow these steps:
1.
Follow the above steps to remove the CD-ROM.
2.
Make sure to disconnect the power cord and signal cables from the hard disk
drive and the diskette drive.
3.
Remove the screw that secures the mounting tray holding the hard disk drive
4.
Push the mounting tray to the right to separate it from the chassis, then lift the
tray out of chassis.
5.
To remove the hard disk drive from the mounting tray, remove the four
screws securing it to the tray.
