If you press Enter, the following options will be displayed: • Disabled - This option prevents remote users from changing the user opt-in policy. Only local users can control the user opt-in policy. • Enabled - This option enables remote users to change the user opt-in policy. The option also enables remote users to choose whether to request local user consent before the KVM remote control session over a computer is established. Password Policy The Password Policy option specifies when you can change the MEBx password through the network interface. The Intel MEBx password is the password entered by the user after the user presses Ctrl+P. The network password is the password entered by the user when the user is accessing an Intel ME enabled computer through the network. Note: By default, the two passwords are the same until the network password is changed through the network. Once changed through the network, the network password will always be kept separate from the local Intel MEBx password. The Intel MEBx password can always be changed through the Intel MEBx user interface. Select Password Policy and press Enter. Then, the following three options will be displayed. Option Default Password Only During Setup and Configuration Anytime Description The Intel MEBx password can be changed through the network interface if the default password has not been changed.
