LocalTalk Zone Purpose: To identify the LocalTalk Zone provided by the LocalTalk network. This menu item cannot be modified through the operator panel. NPA Hosts Purpose: To specify the maximum number of NPA hosts that can register for NPA alerts. Values: 1...10 (2*) Note: Changing this menu item automatically resets the printer. NPA Mode Purpose: To specify whether the printer performs the special processing required for bidirectional communication, following the conventions defined in the Network Printing Alliance (NPA) Protocol. Values: On Off Auto* Printer performs NPA processing. If data is not in NPA format, it is rejected as bad data. Printer does not perform NPA processing.
