Dual-Mode Internet Telephony Kit To use a headset, follow these instructions: 1. Open the headset flap. 2. Plug your headset into the headset port. Unplug the headset to end the handsfree feature. To use the speakerphone feature, follow these instructions: Press the Calls or Speakerphone key. The Speaker icon will appear on the display screen. Press the Calls or Speakerphone key again to turn off the speakerphone. Adjusting the Call Volume During a call, press up or down on the navigation pad to change the volume level. You can also adjust the volume on your PC. Refer to "Chapter 3: Getting Started" for more information. Muting a Call To mute a call, select MUTE. The caller cannot hear you, but you can hear the caller. To turn off the mute feature, select UNMUTE. Quick Dialing During standby, press and hold the appropriate digit key (configured through the phonebook) for your call. Chapter 4: Using the Dual-Mode Internet Telephony Kit
Making Skype or Landline Calls
To use a headset, follow these instructions:
1.
Open the headset flap.
2.
Plug your headset into the headset port.
Unplug the headset to end the handsfree feature.
To use the speakerphone feature, follow these instructions:
Press the
Calls or Speakerphone
key. The Speaker icon will appear on the display screen.
Press the
Calls or Speakerphone
key again to turn off the speakerphone.
Adjusting the Call Volume
During a call, press up or down on the navigation pad to change the volume level.
You can also adjust the volume on your PC. Refer to “Chapter 3: Getting Started” for more information.
Muting a Call
To mute a call, select
MUTE
. The caller cannot hear you, but you can hear the caller.
To turn off the mute feature, select
UNMUTE
.
Quick Dialing
During standby, press and hold the appropriate digit key (configured through the phonebook) for your call.
