Chapter 4: Antenna Position The antenna on the Magellan RoadMate 800 is designed in such a way as to receive the satellite signal at the front face of the antenna. It is important to angle the antenna so that the front face is mostly toward the sky. Ideally in most vehicles, the antenna should be rotated to approximately 90° from the unit to receive the best possible satellite signal.
