en To clean hard flooring, raise the tool by ^ pressing the foot switch ). Always use the floor brush with the bristles raised to clean floors with very deep joints or gaps. AirTeQ floor brush (see fig. 8) ^ After about 10-15 seconds, a small red marker will appear in the left-hand side of the display (see fig. 13). ^ Close the dust compartment lid until it clicks into place. Take care not to catch the dustbag in the lid. This floor brush is specially designed to achieve good cleaning results with low energy consumption. It is especially aerodynamic and powerful. ,If the floor tool is difficult to move across the carpeting reduce the suction power. How the exhaust filter change indicator works The exhaust filter change indicator displays the usable life of the exhaust filter. The indicator will turn fully red after approx. 50 hours of operation, which is equivalent to one year of average use (see fig. 14). Activating the exhaust filter change indicator Depending on the model, one of the following standard exhaust filters is installed (see fig. 9). a AirClean Filter b Active AirClean 50 Filter (black) c HEPA AirClean 50 Filter (white) If your vacuum cleaner is equipped with a type b or c exhaust filter, you will need to activate the exhaust filter change indicator. ^ Open the dust compartment lid and raise until it clicks into place (see fig. 10). Inserting batteries into the LED handle (see fig. 15 + 16) (depending on model) a Loosen the screws on the cover. b Press down on both sides of the cover to remove. c Take out the battery holder and insert the three batteries supplied making sure they are inserted correctly. d Replace the batter holder in the direction of the arrows on the holder and battery compartment, so that both line up. e Replace the cover and tighten the screws. ^ Remove the marker strip (see fig. 11). ^ Press the exhaust filter change indicator ~ (see fig. 12). 11
