Indicating a Connection to the User When the java implementation makes any of the additional network connections, it will indicate to the user that the handset is actively interacting with the network. To indicate this connection, the network icon will appear on the handset's status bar as shown below. Conversely, when the network connection is no longer used the network icon will be removed from the status bar. 43
