Accessories Supplied Accessories Make sure the following accessories are provided with the product. • Remote control unit (x 1) • Remote control unit battery (x 2) • AC cord for 200-240 V (x 1) • AC cord for 100-120 V (x 1) • AV terminal conversion cable (x 1) • Cable clamp (x 5) • Setup Guide (this document) (x 1) • Stand (x 1 set)* • Wall mounting bracket (x 1 set)* • Eyebolt cover (x 2)* • Eyebolt cover attachment screw (x 2)* * Consult your dealer for installation of the stand or wall mounting bracket. * For environmental protection! Do not dispose of batteries in household waste. Follow the disposal instructions for your area. NOTE • The supplied AC cord is dedicated for this product. Do not use it for other equipment. Preparation and How to Use Remote Control Unit 1 Inserting Batteries into the Remote Control Unit 1 Place your finger on the part marked with the s, and then pull the cover off. 2 See the instructions in the compartment and put in the batteries (R03 or LR03 ("AAA" size) x 2) with their plus (+) and minus (-) sides oriented correctly. 3 Close the cover. NOTE • Do not apply impact on the remote control unit. Avoid water and do not place the product in areas with high humidity. • If the remote control unit occasionally does not respond, the batteries may be running out. Replace them ahead of time. The supplied batteries may run out in a short period of time depending on the storage condition. • Use manganese or alkaline batteries only. • Check the cell batteries of the remote control unit once in six month for abnormality such as leakage and distortion. The remote control may not function properly after a leakage occurs. Remote control light receiving section 30° 30° 18° 17´ (5 m) 30° Range of Remote Control Operation • Check the range and distance of both the remote control unit and the Monitor, and press one button on the remote control unit at a time. CAUTION Do not place objects in the area under the Monitor. Obstacles may interrupt the receiver of the remote control and may result in misoperation. EN 4
