Spanning Tree can be enabled or disabled in this screen.
Enable: There are four other tunable parameters to be addressed when enabled.
Hello Time
Time between configuration messages sent by the Spanning Tree algorithm
Max Age
Amount of time before a configuration message is discarded by the system
Forward Delay
Amount of time system spent transitioning from the ‘learning’ to the
‘listening’ to the ‘forwarding’ states
Bridge Priority
Priority setting among other switches in the Spanning Tree
Disable:
Disable Spanning Tree algorithm on the system.
When Spanning tree is used in conjunction with a set of aggregated ports, otherwise known as a port trunking, Spanning Tree will treat the trunk as
a single virtual port.
