Error Messages The following table lists the error messages and other warnings displayed in the monitor, as well as the solutions for dealing with them. Display O (blinks) B N Battery exhausted. P Battery temperature high Q (● blinks red) P Please wait for the camera to finish recording. N Memory card is write protected. P This card cannot be used. P This card cannot be read. P Card is not formatted. Format card? No Yes Problem Clock not set. Battery running low. Battery exhausted. Battery temperature is high. Camera cannot focus. Camera cannot perform other operations until recording is complete. Write-protect switch is in "lock" position. Error accessing memory card. Memory card has not been formatted for use in this camera. Solution Set date and time. Prepare to charge or replace battery. Charge or replace battery. A 121 14, 16 14, 16 Turn off camera, and allow 17 battery to cool down before resuming use. After 5 seconds, this message will disappear, the monitor will turn off, and the power-on lamp and flash lamp will blink rapidly. After the lamps blink for three minutes, the camera will turn off automatically.
