Shooting a distant view or landscape through a window Use the Infinity Focus mode to shoot a distant view more sharply, or a landscape through a window. 1. Press the button until " the LCD panel. " appears on Lite Touch Zoom 140ED Lite Touch Zoom 140ED QD 2. Check that the green LED lights up, then shoot. Flash is automatically canceled in this mode. Using the self-timer Use the self-timer when you wish to include yourself in the picture. 1. Press the button until " the LCD panel. " appears on Lite Touch Zoom 140ED Lite Touch Zoom 140ED QD Use a tripod or place the camera on a stable flat surface when using the self-timer. 2. Compose the picture, and press the Shutter Release button. Focus and exposure are achieved by pressing the Shutter Release button lightly. When the Shutter Release button is pressed all the way, the Self-timer lamp blinks for approx. 8 seconds, then lights up for 2 seconds before the shutter is released. After the shot, Self-Timer mode is canceled. Self-Timer mode is automatically canceled if the camera is not operated for more than approx. 2 minutes or when the slide cover is closed. 38 Advanced Operations
