NINTENDO Wi-Fi CONNECTION NINTENDO Wi-Fi CONNECTION NINTENDO WI-FI CONNECTION SETUP To use the browser, you will need to configure the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection settings. These settings can be configured easily on the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Setup Screen. Choose a Setup Method When you launch the browser for the first time, or if you select NETWORK CONNECTION SETUP from the settings and then select CONNECTION, the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Setup Screen will be displayed. As shown below, select a setup method, then proceed through the setup on the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Setup Screen. To use the browser at home To use the browser outdoors Do you have a broadband YES Internet connection? NO Check the Internet connection environment required (see page 13). If you go to a Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection hotspot, you will be able to use the browser without any special setup. Note: The browser can also be used on some other hotspots not sponsored by Nintendo (for a fee). Is your wireless access point compatible with AOSS™? YES Do you have a wireless LAN access point? YES Perform the easy setup using AOSS. NO Search for your wireless access point and configure the settings. NO Do you have a computer running Windows® XP, connected to the Internet? YES Use the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector (sold separately) to configure the settings easily. NO Check the Internet connection environment required (see page 07).
