Inserting punctuation marks and special characters Press , to add a punctuation mark. The phone tries to predict the correct symbol. To change the underlined symbol, press repeatedly until the desired symbol appears. If the desired symbol is not found, press Symbol to enter the list of symbols and special characters. Then roll with the Navi Roller to the symbol you want to use and press OK. Tip: You can also insert a symbol by using the option In- sert symbol or by pressing and holding list of symbols and special characters. to enter the Deleting characters Press Clear to delete the character to the left of the cursor. Pressing and holding Clear clears the display. Changing character case Press once to change the character case. Upper case is indicated by ABC and the lower case by abc. Tip: Pressing and holding enters the number input. Number input is indicated by 123. Writing compound words Instead of writing the whole compound word at once, you can write its first part, press Navi Roller to accept it, and write the second part.
