6. Phone book functions Storing names and numbers 1 Press Names. 2 Roll to Add name and press Navi Roller. 3 Key in the name and press OK. Press a number key repeatedly until the desired character appears. Press for a space. See also "Writing text"on page 33. 4 Key in an area code and phone number, and press OK. If you key in the + character for the international prefix (by pressing twice) in front of the country code, you can also use the phone number when calling from abroad. Quick Save: Key in the phone number DQG press Options, press OK at Save highlighted. Then enter the name and press OK. Storing multiple numbers per name You can use your phone as a contact manager, since the phone's internal phone book allows you to store multiple phone numbers as well as text, such as an E-mail address, a street address or a note under a name. Note: Multiple numbers per name can be stored only in the phone's memory. Before storing any names and numbers, select the phone memory. For instructions, see page 16. The first number stored under a name is automatically set as the default number. When you select a name from the phone book (for example, to make a call or send a text message), the default number is used unless you select another number.
