Closed user group (Menu 4-5-4) This network service specifies the group of people whom you can call and who can call you. Network default resets the phone to use a user group the SIM card owner has agreed upon with the service provider. A closed user group is indicated by the icon . Note: When calls are limited to a Closed user group, calls may be possible to certain emergency numbers in some networks (e.g. 112 or other official emergency number). Security level (Menu 4-5-5) This menu allows you to set the phone security level on to avoid unauthorised use of the phone. You need the security code to set the security level. See "Protecting the phone with the security code" on page 79. Note: When you change the security level, all the recent calls lists are cleared. Change of access codes (Menu 4-5-6) With this menu you can change the access codes; security code, PIN code and PIN2 code. These codes may only include the characters 0 to 9. The phone prompts you to enter the current code and the new code. It also prompts you to verify the new code. Note: Avoid using access codes similar to the emergency numbers, such as 112, to prevent accidental dialling of the emergency number. Restore factory settings (Menu 4-6) Within this menu you can reset the menu settings to their original values. The security code is needed for this function. 74 ©2000 Nokia Mobile Phones.
