Basic use 19 Touch screen actions in applications Open the application menu Tap the title bar of the currently open application. Swipe Swiping can be used, for example, to switch between images in the Photos application. To swipe, slide your finger quickly left or right on the screen. Touch screen backlight Turn touch screen backlight on The touch screen backlight is turned off after a period of inactivity. To turn the backlight on, tap the screen. If the screen and keys are locked, use the lock switch to unlock them. Close a dialog Tap on a blank space on the desktop. All changes and selections will be cancelled. Basic use About your device Antenna locations Your device may have internal and external antennas. Avoid touching the antenna area unnecessarily while the antenna is transmitting or receiving. Contact with antennas affects the communication quality and may cause a higher power level during operation and may reduce the battery life.
