Battery/card basics Charging the battery This camera uses an Olympus lithium-ion battery (LI-10B). Other types of batteries cannot be used. The battery is not fully charged at the time of purchase. Be sure to use the specified battery charger (LI-10C) to charge the battery before use. For more - Olympus C765 | Reference Manual - Page 20

Using an AC adapter (optional) An AC adapter is useful for time-consuming tasks such as image downloads to a computer. An optional Olympus CAMEDIA-brand AC adapter allows you to power your digital camera from a common AC wall outlet. Be sure to use the specified AC adapter.
