Recording sound with movies • If the camera is more than 1 m (3.3 ft.) away from the source of the sound, sound may not be recorded clearly. Note • Pictures cannot be taken during sound recording. • Sound recording is not possible in the following cases: the record mode is set to TIFF/the drive mode is set to sequential shooting (j , i, k, 7) • Sound recording may also pick up camera noises, such as button operations, shutter movement, etc. • This camera cannot play back sound. • Sound recording may not be possible if there is insufficient space in the card memory.
