Glossary of terms Sleep Mode A mode designed to save battery life. The camera automatically enters the sleep mode if you do not operate it for a certain time. To get out of the sleep mode, use any button on the camera (shutter button, arrow pad, etc.). TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) A format used for saving highly detailed black and white or color image data. TIFF image files can be handled by software programs for scanners and graphics applications. This camera uses an uncompressed image file format. TFT (Thin-Film Transistor) Color Monitor A transistor color monitor constructed using thin-film technology.
