Taking still pictures Shooting basics • Press the shutter button gently using the ball of your finger. If it is pressed hard, the camera may move and pictures may come out blurred. • Never open the card cover, remove the batteries or disconnect the AC adapter while the green lamp is blinking. Doing so could destroy stored pictures and prevent storage of pictures you have just taken. You can check the picture area that the camera actually records more accurately. Disadvantages When close to a subject, the image in the viewfinder is a little different from the picture that the camera actually records.
