Charging the battery This camera uses an Olympus lithium ion battery (BLM-1). Never use any other type of battery. The battery is not fully charged when purchased. Before use, be sure to charge the battery with the specified provided charger (BCM-2). Note Use only the specified charger (BCM-1 or BCM-2). For details, refer to the charger's manual. 1 Connect the AC cable. Charger AC cable En AC wall outlet 2 Attach the battery to the charger. ● Charging starts. The battery will be fully recharged in about 5 hours. Charging indicator Lithium ion battery Align the battery with the arrow. Remove the protection cap from the battery. 13

Connect the AC cable.

Attach the battery to the charger.

Charging starts. The battery will be fully recharged in about 5 hours.
