Connecting the AV Receiver-Continued Connecting a Power Amplifier If you want to use a more powerful power amplifier and use the AV receiver solely as a preamp, connect the amp to the PRE OUT jacks, and connect all speakers and the subwoofer to the power amplifier. If you have a powered subwoofer, connect it to the AV receiver's PRE OUT: SUBWOOFER jack. See "Connecting a Powered Subwoofer" on page 24 for more information.
