About the Battery (charging/number of recordable pictures) w Battery indication The remaining battery power appears on the screen. [It does not appear when you use the camera with the AC adaptor (DMW-AC5; optional) connected.] • The battery indication turns red and blinks. (The status indicator blinks when the LCD monitor turns off.) In this case, wipe them with a dry cloth. • When the operating time of the camera becomes extremely short even after properly charging the battery, the life of the battery may have expired. Buy a new battery. w Charging conditions • Charge the battery in a temperature between 10 QC to 35 QC (50 QF to 95 QF).
