Inserting/Removing the Card • Check that the camera is turned off and that the lens is retracted. • Prepare an SD Memory Card (supplied), an SDHC Memory Card (optional) or a MultiMediaCard (optional). 1 Slide the release lever in the direction of the arrow and open the card/battery door. Preparation 3  Close the card/battery door.  Slide the release lever in the direction of the arrow. OPEN LOCK • If the card/battery door cannot be completely closed, remove the card and insert it again. OPEN LOCK 2 Insert: Insert the card fully until it clicks and it is locked. Remove: Push the card until it clicks, then pull the card out upright. • The card and the data may be damaged if it is inserted or removed while the camera is on. • We recommend using Panasonic's SD Memory Card/SDHC Memory Card. • Check the direction of the card. • Do not touch the connection terminals on the back side of the card. • The card may be damaged if it is not fully inserted. 15 VQT0Y19

Slide the release lever in the
direction of the arrow and open
the card/battery door.

Insert:
Insert the card fully until it clicks
and it is locked.
Remove:
Push the card until it clicks, then
pull the card out upright.
• Check the direction of the card.
• Do not touch the connection terminals
on the back side of the card.
• The card may be damaged if it is not
fully inserted.

Close the card/battery door.
Slide the release lever in the
direction of the arrow.
• If the card/battery door cannot be
completely closed, remove the card and
insert it again.
• The card and the data may be damaged
if it is inserted or removed while the
camera is on.
• We recommend using Panasonic’s SD
Memory Card/SDHC Memory Card.
