If the blood pressure monitor is positioned lower than the heart, the measured blood pressure value may be high. If the blood pressure monitor is positioned higher than the heart, the measured blood pressure value may be low. If the posture applies pressure to the stomach (leaning forward), accurate measurements may not be possible. Do not touch the blood pressure monitor while taking measurements. '1 Do not move your body, your arm, or your fingers while taking measurements. Do not talk while taking measurements. Do not use close to cellular phones or other devices which emit electromagnetic waves. Doing so may result in malfunction. 13
