Symptom Possible cause The OM mark flashes • Your hand or wrist moved. (see page 18.) when readings are being taken. The OLM mark flashes even though I did not move my hand or wrist. • In some cases this will be displayed when you have tensed the muscles in your arm. Relax the muscles in your arm and take the reading again. (see pages 12-14.) The measured value obtained is different from that measured at the upper arm. • For persons with certain circulation problems, there may be substantial differences in blood pressure values measured at the upper arm versus at the wrist. If the unit still appears to provide unusual or erroneous readings, consult your physician. If the unit does not appear to be functioning properly, contact Panasonic at 1-800-338-0552. 26
