When a call is received, the unit rings for a short time*1 while the caller is being identified. If the phone number matches an entry in the call block list, the unit emits no sound to the caller, and disconnects the call. (Caller ID subscribers only) *1 This is called first ring. If you do not want the first ring to sound, turn this setting to "Off" (page 29). Important: R When the unit receives a call from a number that is stored in the call block list or a call without a recognized phone number, the call is logged in the caller list (page 34) with after the call is disconnected. Storing unwanted callers You can store up to 100 phone numbers in the call block list.
