Caller ID Service " This unit is compatible with a Caller ID service offered by your telephone company. If you subscribe to a Caller ID, the calling party's information will be displayed after the first ring. The unit can record information of up to 40 callers, including the date and time received, in the Caller List. When the 41st call is received, the 1st call is deleted. Using the list, you can automatically call back a caller. You can store the callers' numbers from the Caller List into the phone book. If you subscribe to both Caller ID and Call Waiting with Caller ID services (CWID), when a second call is received while talking, a call waiting tone will be heard and the second caller's information will be displayed on the handset in use (p. 26).
