4 Connecting the Unit 4 Connecting the Unit 4.1 Connection Conditions Maximum cable length varies depending on the power source used for the receiver side unit and the camera. Refer to the following information when connecting a camera to the coaxial LAN converter. 4.1.1 When using a 1-channel Receiver Side Unit IMPORTANT • Use RG-6/U coaxial cable with a loop resistance of 4 W/100 m {328 feet} or less. • When the receiver side unit is powered by PoE, use a PoE camera that consumes no more than 6.5 W. A PoE+ camera cannot be connected.
