• Mode: Select the voice command system mode from the following: - Prompts: For handset to prompt for required information. - Readout+Alerts: For handset to prompt for required information and readout the contents of the screen and phone alerts. - Readout: For handset to prompt for required information and readout the contents of the screen. - Tones Only: For handset to provide beeps only for audio guidance. • Audio Playback: Allows audio playback to play through the speakerphone or earpiece. Select Speakerphone or Earpiece. • Timeout: Select a period of time either 5 Seconds or 10 Seconds which the system listens for a command before timing out. 4. Select an option and press the Key. The"Time & Date"menu is set by the network environment automatically.The menu disappears when the network mode is set to CDMA mode, or the device acquires CDMA system. The menu appears when the network mode is set to GSM mode, or the 01 device acquires the GSM system. LOCATION 02 1. Slide the phone up, press the Key [MENU], then press 9. Settings & Tools, 03 7. Select one of the following settings, then press the Key [SET]. 04 • On: Your location is now available to the network. 05 • E911 Only: Your location will be hidden from the network and applications, except for 911. When Lock Setting is set for Location Setting under Restrictions on the Phone Security 06 menu, you will need to enter a lock code. The default lock code is the last 4 digits of your phone number. 07 CURRENT COUNTRY Allows you to set the country of your current location so that your phone works properly while you travel. 1. Press the Directional Key up or down or input the country name in the Go To field to select the desired country, then press the Key [SET]. To view the help option for Current Country, press the Right Soft Key [Help]. PHONE SECURITY The Security menu allows you to electronically secure the phone.
