A guide showing the center of the magnified portion of the image appears on the display during zoom playback. 1 5 2 Enter the Q mode and use the four-way controller (45) to choose the image you want to magnify. Press y on the Zoom/f/y button. 2.0× The image is magnified (×1.1 to ×8). Holding down y on the Zoom/f/y button changes the magnification continuously. When the Quick Zoom function (p.176) is set to O, you can magnify the image at a maximum of ×8 simply by pressing y once. You can use the guide at the bottom left of Guide the screen to check which portion of the image is magnified. The following operations can be performed while the magnified image is displayed. Playing Back and Deleting Images
You can magnify an image up to eight times. A guide showing the center
