The more E, the lower the compression rate and the clearer the picture, 4 but the file size becomes larger. The file size also varies depending on the recorded pixels setting (p.104). Quality Level C Best D Better E Good Lowest compression rate. Suitable for photo prints. Standard compression rate. Suitable for viewing the image on a computer screen. Highest compression rate. Suitable for posting on a website or attaching to e-mail. 1 Press the 3 button in A mode. The [A Rec.Mode] menu appears. 2 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Quality Level]. 3 Press the four-way controller (5). Storage Capacity 12 A pull-down menu appears. Recorded Pixels 10M 4 Use the four-way controller (23) Quality Level White Balance to change the quality level. AF Setting 5 Press the 4 button. AE Metering Sensitivity AUTO 800 The Quality Level setting is saved. 6 Press the 3 button. MENU Cancel OK OK The camera returns to capture status with the current setting.
