Shutter release button Four-way controller 4 button Taking Pictures Zooming and Taking Pictures of People (Halflength Portrait Mode) With (Half-length Portrait), when a face is recognized within the 4 image, the intelligent zoom works to zoom in for a portrait picture based on the position of the face and the size to give a photograph with the subject recorded from the waist up. Face Priority is always on in this mode. 1 Press the four-way controller (3) in A mode. The Capture Mode Palette appears. 2 Use the four-way controller (2345) to select (Half- length Portrait). 3 Press the 4 button. When the camera recognizes the subject's face, a yellow focus frame appears on the face and an orange frame indicating the area that will be enlarged appears. 107 07/07/2008 14:25 4 Press the shutter release button halfway.
