Taking Pictures Taking Pictures Shutter release button Taking Pictures Four-way controller 4 button 4 Taking Pictures Automatically (Auto Picture Mode) In b (Auto Picture) mode, when the subject simply turns towards the camera, the camera selects the most appropriate shooting mode from (Night Scene), (Landscape), (Portrait), (Night Scene Portrait), (Sport), (Flower), (Standard) for the scene. 1 Press the four-way controller (3) in A mode. The Capture Mode Palette appears. 2 Use the four-way controller (2345) to select b (Auto Picture). 3 Press the 4 button. 4 Press the shutter release button halfway. The focus frame on the display turns green when the subject is in focus, and the icon for selected shooting mode will appear on the top left of the display. 5 Press the shutter release button fully.
