Slide
the
workpiece
between
the
elastic
band
or
lay
it
underneath
it
and
pin
it
down.

Sew
it
on
using
the
elastic
stitch.
Allow
the
ends
of
the
elastic
band
to
overlap
a
little
and
overstitch
with
the
elastic
stitch.
—
On
skirts
and
trousers,
the
elastic
tape
is
sewn
onto
the
edge
which
has
been

red

using
