not

be

connected

to

the

safety

lead

terminal

to

a

plug

with

three

pins.

The

wires

in

the

mains

lead

are

coloured

accor

ding

to

the

followg

code:

Brown.

Live

As

the

colours

of

the

wires

in

the

mains

lead

of

this

appliance

may

not

correspond

with

the

colour

coding

of

the

terminals

in

your

plug,

pro

ceed

es

follows:

The

wire

which

is

coloured

blue

must

be

connec

ted

to

the

terminal

which

is

marked

with

the

let

ter

N

or

coloured

black.

The

wire

which

is

coloured

brown

must

be

con

nected

to

the

terminal

which

is

marked

with

the

letter

L

or

coloured

red.

Cut-off

mains

plugs

are

definitely

not

to

be

used,

but

disposed

of

immediately.

Defective

mains

leads

must

be

replaced

completely.

Only

spare

fuses

must

be

used

approved

by

ASTA

according

to

BS

1362

and

the

fuse

cover

must

be

marked

or

with

the

correspon

ding

colour

code.

The

plug

must

never

be

used

without

fuse

cover.

Spare

fuse

covers

electrical

suppliers

or

PFAFF

agencies.
