Messages (Menu 5) Use the Messages menu to send and receive text messages and multimedia messages. You can also access push messages and broadcast messages. To access this menu, press in Idle mode and select Messages. Create message (Menu 5.1) Use this menu to create and send messages. Text message (Menu 5.1.1) Short Message Service (SMS) allows you to send text messages that may include simple pictures, animated images, and melodies. Creating and sending an SMS message 1. Enter the message text and press [ ]. • The maximum number of characters allowed in a message varies by service provider.
