Receive: allows you to enable or disable the reception of broadcast messages. Channel List: allows you to indicate the channels from which you wish to receive broadcast messages. The following options are available: • Select: use to enable or disable channels on the list by marking or unmarking them, respectively. A check mark displays in front of each selected channel. • Add Channel: use to enter the ID and title for a new channel. • Delete: use to remove a channel from the list. • Edit: use to change the ID and title of an existing channel. Language: allows you to select your preferred language in which to display cell broadcast messages. Please contact your service provider for further details. Predictive Text Mode The Default T9 mode is allows you to set the default setting for text messages. Select Off to disable the T9 dictionary. Memory Status You can check the memory amount available and remaining for storing the messages. 1. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access the Menu mode. 2. Select Messaging. Highlight Memory Status and press the Select soft key or the key. 3. Select the message type you want. For Text Message, scroll through the memory.
