Camera Taking Pictures Taking pictures with your phone's built-in camera is as simple as choosing a subject, pointing the lens, and pressing a key. You can activate the phone's camera mode whether the phone is open or closed. To take a picture with the phone open: 1. Select > Pictures > Camera to activate camera mode. (Additional camera options are available through the camera mode Options menu. See "Camera Mode Options"on page 162 for more information.) Shortcut: To activate camera mode, you can also press and hold or the Side Camera key. 2. Using the phone's Main Screen as a viewfinder, aim the camera lens at your subject. 3. Select Capture (left softkey) (or press , , or the Side Camera key) until the shutter sounds. (The picture will automatically be saved in your selected storage area.) Ⅲ To return to camera mode to take another picture, press . 4. Select Options (right softkey) for more options: Ⅲ Take New Picture to return to camera mode to take another picture. Ⅲ Send to Contacts to send your picture. (See page 177 for details.) Ⅲ Print to print the pictures. You can choose whether to pick up your prints at a retail store, have them mailed to you, use a PictBridge-enabled printer (see page 185), or use a Bluetooth-enabled printer (see page 202). Taking Pictures
Taking pictures with your phone’s built-in camera is as simple
as choosing a subject, pointing the lens, and pressing a key.
You can activate the phone’s camera mode whether the
phone is open or closed.
To take a picture with the phone open:
