DECORATIVE AND LETTER STITCH CHART The stitch chart inside the top lid of the machine displays patterns available. The highlighted section indicates one unit of the pattern that is programmable into a stitch sequence. Description of Chart Symbols: Mirror Stitch included Reverse Stitch included Mirror and Reverse stitch included X5Elongation included ADJUSTING THE BALANCE OF THE STITCHES Depending on the type of fabric you sew, it may be necessary to adjust the balance of the stitches. The adjustment is needed if the decorative or letter stitch is distorted. Turn screw which is located bottom of the machine in either direction as may be required. DECORATIVE STITCH PATTERN 1. If patterns are distorted as shown in illustration (a), turn screw in direction of symbol (+). 2. If patterns are distorted as shown in illustration (b), turn screw in direction of symbol (-).
