Cleaning To keep the AIT drive in top condition, clean the drive unit as needed using a cleaning cartridge with the AIT logo. When the drive unit needs cleaning, the CLEANING REQUEST indicator lights. (For the AITe1040, AITe1040V, AITe520, AITe520V, AITe390, and AITe390V, use the AITe1040, AITe1040V, AITe520, AITe520V, AITe390, and AITe390V cleaning cartridge respectively.) Use the cleaning cartridge made exclusively for each model.
