A slide show starts with sound or music. z Hints • To repeat both MP3 audio tracks and JPEG image files in a single album, repeat the same MP3 audio track or album when "MODE (MP3, JPEG)" is set to "AUTO" or "AUTO (BGM)". See "Playing repeatedly (Repeat Play)" (page 26) to repeat the track or album. • If JPEG playback finishes during MP3 playback, MP3 playback continues with background picture. • If MP3 playback finishes during JPEG playback, player's internal background sound starts. • If you play large MP3 track data and JPEG image data at the same time, the sound may skip. It is recommended that you set the MP3 bit rate to 128 kbps or lower when creating the file. If the sound still skips, then reduce the size of the JPEG file. Setting the pace for a slide show (INTERVAL) You can set the time the slides are displayed on the screen. 1 Press DISPLAY twice while viewing a JPEG image or when the player is in stop mode. The default setting is underlined. • NORMAL: sets to standard duration. • FAST: sets a duration shorter than NORMAL. • SLOW 1: sets a duration longer than NORMAL. • SLOW 2: sets a duration longer than SLOW 1. 4 Press . ~ • Some JPEG files, especially progressive JPEG files or JPEG files of 3,000,000 pixels or more, may take longer to display than others, which may make the duration seem longer than the setting you selected. • Duration of interval depends on "JPEG RESOLUTION" setting in "SCREEN SETUP" (page 39). 45

Attaching the DVD Player to Your TV	13
1 Insert the guide pins on the bracket into the guide holes on the TV. The holes on the bracket should align to the holes on the TV.	13
2 Insert the two plastic fasteners (supplied) into the holes, then press in the head of the fasteners until they click.	13
3 Slide the DVD player onto the bracket with the DVD slot facing the outer edge of the TV.	13
1 With the bracket fully extended, insert the guide pins on the bracket into the guide holes on the TV. The holes on the bracket should align to the holes on the TV.	15
2 Insert the 2 plastic fasteners (supplied) into the holes, then press in the head of the fasteners until they click.	15
3 Slide the bracket so that the viewing window covers the corresponding number (see the illustrations and table on the previous page). If the viewing window indicates Bracket Setting 2, be sure to use a Velcro strip (supplied); see previous page.	15
4 Align the slider on the bottom of the receiver unit with the groove of the installation bracket.	15
5 Slide down the DVD player onto the bracket with the DVD slot facing the outer edge of the TV. Before proceeding to the next step, make sure that you are satisfied with the position of the DVD player in relation to the TV.	15
6 Secure the location of the sliding bracket by screwing the Thumb Screw into the screw point located just beneath the viewing window. If Bracket Setting 2 is used, peel off the arrow label by pulling downwards, and firmly press the bracket onto the TV.	15

1 Connect the L-shaped end of the HDMI cable (supplied) to the HDMI OUT on the DVD player, then connect the straight end of the HDMI cable to any HDMI IN on the TV 1.	16
2 Connect the supplied AC adapter with AC power cord between the DC IN 12V and the nearest wall outlet 3.	16
3 For models with XMB™ menu only: Connect the supplied USB cable between the DVD player’s DMex port and the DMex/SERVICE port on the TV 2.	16
