Using the display You can check the remaining time of the current track or the entire CD. When a CDTEXT disc is loaded, you can also check the information recorded on the disc, such as the titles. Checking the remaining time Press DISPLAY repeatedly during normal play. Each time you press the button, the display changes cyclically as follows: Elapsed playing time of the current track t Remaining time of the current track* t Remaining time of the disc** t Track title (CD-TEXT disc only) t Clock display t Effect status appears when you check the remaining time of a CD track whose number is 21 or over appears during Shuffle Play of a CD which has 21 or more tracks, or during Programme Play when a CD track whose number is 21 or over is selected. "- -.- -" also appears when either "ALL DISCS", "ALL DISCS SHUF", "1 DISC SHUF" or "PGM" is displayed (see page 10). Checking the total playing time Press DISPLAY repeatedly in stop mode. Press DISPLAY repeatedly during normal
play.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
Elapsed playing time of the current track

“– –.– –” appears when you check the remaining
time of a CD track whose number is 21 or over.
** “– –.– –” appears during Shuffle Play of a CD
