Help Guide Portable Theatre System HT-AX7 Listening to Music on a USB Device (models with the PLAY ONLY (USB) port only) You can play music files stored on a connected USB device. 1 Connect the USB device to the PLAY ONLY (USB) port. The speaker system starts loading audio files on the USB device. The (Power) indicator on the front speaker flashes in green while loading files. 2 Press (call)/ (play). The speaker system starts playback of music files stored on the USB device and sound is output from the speaker system. You can perform playback operation by tapping the playback operation icon on the remote control screen of the app. You can also perform the following operations by pressing (call)/ (play) during music playback. Press once to start/stop playback. Press twice to move to the next track. Press three times to move to the previous track. Note The speaker system is unable to play audio files on the USB device in the event of the following: The total number of audio files on the connected USB device exceeds 2 000. The number of folders on the connected USB device exceeds 300, including the "ROOT" folder. The above figures vary depending on the file and folder structure. On the USB device containing audio files, do not save files of different types or unnecessary folders. The speaker system is capable of playing audio files contained in up to the 8th level sub-folders. Folders containing no audio files are skipped for playback. While a USB device is connected to the PLAY ONLY (USB) port, priority is given to the audio output through the USB port and audio outputs from the BLUETOOTH device is disabled. Depending on the state of the BLUETOOTH connection, the (BLUETOOTH) indicator on the front speaker lights or flashes in blue. This, however does not indicate a malfunction. 44

You can play music files stored on a connected USB device.
Note
The speaker system is unable to play audio files on the USB device in the event of the following:
The total number of audio files on the connected USB device exceeds 2 000.
The number of folders on the connected USB device exceeds 300, including the “ROOT” folder.
The above figures vary depending on the file and folder structure. On the USB device containing audio files, do not save files of
different types or unnecessary folders.
The speaker system is capable of playing audio files contained in up to the 8th level sub-folders.
