DVD/VIDEO CD/CD/MP3 x BALANCE You can vary the balance of the left and right speakers as follows. Be sure to set "TEST TONE" to "ON" for easy adjustment. The default settings are in parentheses. • FRONT (0 step): Adjust the balance between the front left and right speakers (6 steps left or right). • REAR (0 step)*: Adjust the balance between the rear left and right speakers (6 steps left or right). * except for MHC-RV600D x TEST TONE (except for MHC-RV600D) The speakers will emit a test tone to adjust "BALANCE" and "LEVEL". • OFF: The test tone is not emitted from the speakers. • ON: The test tone is emitted from each speaker in sequence while adjusting balance or level. When you select one of the "SPEAKER SETUP" items, the test tone is emitted from both left and right speakers simultaneously. Note When you adjust the level of the sub woofer, set T.TONE to "OFF". To adjust the volume of all the speakers at once Turn VOLUME (or press VOL +/- on the remote). Adjusting the speaker volume and level Use the remote for the operation. For MHC-GX90D/RV800D/RV900D 1 Press DVD SETUP in stop mode. 2 Press M or m repeatedly to select "SPEAKER SETUP", then press ENTER. 3 Press M or m repeatedly to select "TEST TONE", then press ENTER. 4 Press M or m repeatedly to select "ON", then press ENTER. You will hear the test tone from each speaker in sequence. 5 From your listening position, adjust the value of "SIZE", "DISTANCE", "BALANCE" and "LEVEL" using M/m/
