You can also turn the power on by pressing ON/OFF. 2Confirm the composition. Position the subject in the center of the screen. 3Start shooting. When shooting still images: 1 Press and hold PHOTO halfway down to focus. When the focus is set on the subject, the AF range finder frame (green) appears. A beep sound is heard, and the z (AE/AF lock) indicator (green) lights on the lower center, little toward the left side of the screen. • The angle of view switches to the aspect ratio (4:3 or 3:2) according to the shooting size of the still image. Confirm the composition.

Start shooting.
When shooting still images:

Press and hold PHOTO halfway down to focus.
When the focus is set on the subject, the AF range finder frame (green) appears. A beep sound is
