Removing, Installing, and Replacing Components 27 4 Remove the add-in card from the PCI slot and store the card in an anti-static wrapper for future use. ✍ Grasp the card with one hand on each end, and gently pull up as you rock the card from side to side. 5 If you do not replace the card or install another add-in card, install a slot cover over the vacant slot at the rear of the chassis (see "Covering an Open I/O Slot" on page 41). 6 Replace the side cover (see "Replacing the Side Cover" on page 25).

Remove the add-in card from the PCI slot and store the card in an
